National Interventional Council (NIC) which is the interventional arm of the Cardiological Society. It represents over 2000 interventional Cardiologists from the region. From 1985 onwards NIC organizes its annual Mid-term meet, every year in the month of April. From a modest beginning that saw only a handful of participants in 1985, it has grown to become a prestigious event showcasing the advancement in the field of Interventional Cardiology and the delegate strength has been rising with each edition.

It was a very challenging event that demanded integration of highly efficient manpower, great hospitality, seamless logistics and cutting edge technology etc. The event was of a grand scale with the Hon’ble President of India Dr Pranab Mukherjee inaugurating the event. To ensure an excellent event among the rising temperatures of early summer in Delhi was a daunting task.

Indiattitude took great measures to create an extravaganza that not only converted this 4 day Meet into an unmatched exchange of knowledge and expertise, but, also provided the nearly 1500 participants a great hospitality and engagement.

The event hosted at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi witnessed participation of delegates and faculties from 20 nations across the world. Utmost care was taken to ensure hassle free hospitality for all present and the latest tools in display as well as communication technologies were employed to create a spectacular experience for the participants. For the first time in India, live transmission of cases and procedures was conducted from various locations in India and Bangkok. Eminent international personalities in healthcare moderated the various sessions online as well as offline. There was an elaborate exhibition of medical tools and equipment which displayed the latest healthcare technologies by Indian as well as international manufacturers.

Overall, this prestigious Meet turned out to be a highly successful addition to our long list of accomplishments.
