Shobu John Mathew - CEO

Shobu John Mathew graduated with MSc .in Tourism Economist & Hotel Management from Sofia University, Bulgaria. An avid traveler, a sharp thinker and a hard core professional, Shobu has traveled extensively in India and internationally . During his 22 years with the Industry, he has acquired an in-depth knowledge of various source markets and further enhanced Sales, Marketing & Operations skills through various International exposures and training programs. Shobu has several years of experience working with leading hotels like Hyatt Regency Delhi , Intercontinental Hotels in India , Shangri – La New Delhi and The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group in key leadership positions. Shobu has headed – SITA MICE and implemented strategic processes for promoting Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions for the Business Unit. He was elected as a Governing Body Member of "India Convention Promotion Bureau" (Under the Ministry of Tourism, Got of India). In 2003 he got elected as the Chairman –International Congress & Convention Association – India Chapter. As a CEO & Director of Attitude Events he is leading a committed, dedicated and well-trained team of colleagues and is confident of scaling new heights in the MICE Industry.

It was such a pleasure to stay at the Shangri-La hotel and see this great, friendly and efficient team working so well together.

We are pleased to report that the participants in the first German Indian Conference on Research for Sustainability judged it a success! This is confirmed by the positive feedback we have received from all those who played an active part in the preparation and carrying out of the conference.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks once more for your support, both in advance of the conference and during the event. Thanks to your assistance, your support in terms of the communication material, the support in many regards concerning the conference arrangements and set up. It was all carried out successfully and professionally. Examples of this are the set of communication materials that have been produces and the good debriefing talk we had on the 12th of Sept.
